Kaspar the Prince of Cats is one of Morpurgo's most magical,engrossing tales full of enchantment and heart break.Personally, I would rate the age 8+.I definetely recommend this book. It is about an orphaned bell-boy who hasn't been shown much love for a long time until a Duchess and her cat stay at his Hotel. The Duchess takes a shine to the boy . Then, the Duchess dies so the bell-boy takes in the cat as his owner. Many problems rise up especially the sinking of the Titanic...
