DIARY OF A WIMPY KID THE THIRD WHEEL BY JEFF KINNEY

This book is about a young boy aged 9 to 10 and is called Gregory and lives with his mum and dad and two brothers Rodrick and Manny .A valentine's day dance at Gregs middle school has turned his wourld upside down .As Greg scrambles to find a date, he's worried he'll be left out in the cold on the big night .

this book is about a boy who is in his Mums tummy. At fist he enjoyed it but then it got anoying, his Mum and Dad were kissing alot and every time they did Greg kiked her. Then he had to come out and he was a new baby born.after a day in the hosptial he went home and he saw his brother, Rodrik.after he was a old tolder a nother baby was born to the Hethly fanily his name was Manny. Greg was in high school and his best friend was called Rowly. In class they were having a raffle for the girls, who like to go to the dance with one of the boys. Greg got loads. Then he chooser one of the grils called Masie. On that night Greg piked up her to go the dance at first they went to a rubish place to eat, Rowly was with them but then greg suddenly spotted a chinken pop on Maises chin.

Diary of a wimpy kid is about a kid called Greg Heffley and he tells the readea about his life. Has an older brother called Rodrick and he ruins Greg's life he also has a younger brother called Manny and he is spoiled rotten. At the start of the story he was in his mum's tummy  nice and relaxed but suddenly he was pulled out and screamed ''PUT ME BACK!'' A few years later he started going to church and there is a play area downstairs  but there is a scary kid who thinks he is a vampire. When greg got to 11 years old he met a girl who is the sister of the vampire kid and greg's parents are making greg baby sit him. Greg was fine with that because he thought his sister would be there aswell!BUT SHE WASN'T! The vampire kid asked if he could ride his bike inside but greg said "No". So the boy sent him to the basement to get a drink so greg went but the boy locked him in the basement and started riding his bike inside. Next month there was a prom dance and his uncle Gary gave him a bit of advice and said " just play it cool"! he was also selling t-shirts for 5$! He sold about 50 of them until people saw that he had spelt the word on the front wrong and he was a cheap skate!!!!!!!!

Diary of a wimpy kid is about a kid called Greg Heffely and he's telling the reader about his life. He has a big brother called Rodrick and a small brother called Manny. In the begging of the story Greg was still in his Mum's tummy,he's telling us how relaxed he was in the dark of his Mums tummy. When he was born the book said he was screeming "PUT ME BACK". A few years later, all of his clothes were second handed from his brother Rodrick. His smaller brother(Manny)was really spoilt every time they went out for tea Manny would always choose were or when they go. In hte middle of the story uncle Gary came to stay with Greg and co. At school Greg recieved a letter saying there was a school disco coming up and he didn't now anything about proms. So the same day he came home from school and asked uncle gary for some advice about the dance and he said "Just play it cool dude, find a girl to talk to and then ask her to the dance simple".Greg didn't know Gary was such an expert on proms. So when the big day came Greg was at the prom with a nice girl and he realised uncle Gary was the DJ. When Greg got a bit closer uncle Gary was selling T-shirts for 5$ and he sold about 20 of them. Mr stink is a great book written by the comedian David Walliams. This book is a hillarious book for all ages but is especialy funny to younger readers. It is full funny moments and is great no matter what. This book, despite the title, is about a young girl who one day befriends a lonely (and stinky) tramp named Mr stink. One cold night Chloe( the girl) invites Mr Stink to sleep in her shed. Chloe has to be very attentive to Mr Stink and his every need. Another thing that is becoming hard for Chloe is that her mother is running for a council spot. When the local news comes to interview Chloe's mother Mr Stink burst's in and steals the spot light from Mrs Crumb( Chloe's mother) and becomes a instant sensation. A political T.V talk show rings, much to Mrs Crumb's delight, and asks her if she would like to take part on the next show. Then taking Mrs Crumb's delight and throwing it in a blender, they tell her that if she wishes to appear she would have to appear with the funny old tramp known as the one and only Mr Stink! Whilst on T.V Mr Stink amuses the watching nation by saying words such as poo. Mr Stink's popularity rocket's sky high after the show and due to circumstances Mrs Crumb looses her place in the running for the council. The day after the show the Prime Minister calls and wishes to speak with none other than Mr Stink in 10 Downing Street. The Prime Minister wants Mr Stink to apply for the council spot opening for his own personal gain. Mr Stink refuses the Prime Minister's offer. In the end Chloe finds out about Mr Stink's past, which you will have to read the book to find out, and then he set's off to his usual sleeping spot, which is no longer Chloe's shed, after they had said their truly heart felt good bye's.

All he did all day was roll up loo rolls and Eventully he invented the most amazing thing of all time. He invented a specil tipe of loo roll which Everybody loved and he became a billionare and his son ,Joe spud, became a billonare boy. All Joe's dad cared about is money. Joe went to a fancy school and all the other billionares teased him about his dad being a billionare by loo rolls so joe asked his dad if he could go to a normal school. Joe trasferd schools and met a friend called Bob. Joe and Bob had a fall out where Bob ,none as Blob because he was short and a slow runner, was being bullied by two twins a girl and a boy ,but you cant see the differance between them. Joe payed the bullies to go away but Bob found out and he was really upset and said all Joe cared about is money. Joe didnt want anybody to know that he was a billionare he didnt even want Bob to know. One day Joe forgot his homwork and he had five minites to get it so he phoned up his dad to drop it round. It draws you in from the very start and keeps you hooked all the way through the marvellous tale. It’s about a young boy called Torak who lives in a world that is very spiritual based. Torak's father gets killed by a bear possessed by a demon and as his father died he promised him that he would go to the world spirits mountain or die trying. As he starts his journey he finds an orphaned wolf. Torak feels a connection with the cub because When Torak was little he was brought up by a wolf and then grew up in the wolf clan with his farther. So Torak helps the wolf survive and befriends him speaking, playing and hunting together. On his journey Torak makes friends and enemy. Every corner he turns is fraught with danger and it doesn't help that he has to collect the Nanuak (pieces of a riddle) if you don't like this book you have no heart. click here to see the closest yoga lesson to you Our yoga lesson On monday the 21st of january 2013 Andrea west came to teach year 5 yoga. Yoga is many body movements that streches your mucsles and stimulates the mind. Yoga calms you and releases anything troubling your mind. We learnt many movements that were all linked to our recent studies on the Amazon here are a few: the tree, the cobra, the tiger and many more. After the yoga lesson I felt very calm and it helped take my mind off troubling thoughts. Andrea may be setting up a kids after school club and if she does I would highly recogmend that your child does join it. there are clubs for adults too and Andrea is a very good teacher because she does know what shes doing and is very freindly. If your child has talked to you about it and you want to tell her what they thought of it you can coment on her website. I would rate it 5 stars.

Click hereto buy an AMAZING book called Harry rabbit on the run it is written buy a crative author called Adam Frost This book is about a small rabbit called Harry and right at the begining of the book Harry gets took by an eagle and up to a high mountin of the cliff. up there he met a small bunny called Bernie he is to carried away about singing a song about his girlfriend that he dosnt notice Harry land in the nest after they introduce eachother the try and escape, they hold hands and jump of the nest and unexpectadly land and a ledge. they clean themself up and see a hole in the cliff so realy nervously they climb up the cliff and into the hole in the hole they go to sleep and Bernie ses to Harry i think the seeling is moving and then a swarm of bats fly every were and Harry and Bernie are scared to death. eventualy Harry and Bernie jump again and land in a forrest where they meat Mr and Mrs rabbit and Bernies girlfriend then they ascape from the forrest and live happily ever after. i would recomend this book for 7 to 12 year olds and give it a 10 out of 10 score bye Eva.W

It is about an orphaned bell-boy who hasn't been shown much love for a long time until a Duchess and her cat stay at his Hotel. The Duchess takes a shine to the boy . Then, the Duchess dies so the bell-boy takes in the cat as his owner. Many problems rise up especially the sinking of the Titanic...

Book Review - Journey to the River Sea, Eva Ibbottson

This is a delightful book. There's something enchanting about the way in which Eva Ibbotson writes. 

This tells the story of an orphan who is shipped off to some relatives who live in Brazil. They do not meet her expectations and soon she's off having an adventure with a boy who lives on the river. This is a story about dreams and reality. It's about making your dreams reality in spite of obstacles. It's about the futility of trying to separate yourself from the environment in which you live. It's about so many things and told in a way that they all creep up on you while you're having a fantastic adventure on the Amazon.
